Guided Fly Fishing

Paul began guiding fly anglers on New York and Pennsylvania's Upper Delaware River system in the late 1990's.  Today, Paul Weamer and Weamer Fly Fishing, LLC. guide fly anglers for trout predominately in the Upper Yellowstone River Basin, both inside and outside of Yellowstone National Park.

Paul really enjoys teaching and has spent over 20 years as a fly fishing professional,  instructing anglers in fly fishing, tying, casting, and fly fishing based aquatic entomology.  A guided trip with Paul will be about more than just catching fish (Though catching trout and having fun remain his main objectives!).  He'll tailor your day to match your expectations and to focus on any facet of fly fishing you wish to explore.

Paul's Yellowstone guide service is focused on legendary Yellowstone River tributaries: Slough and Soda Butte Creeks and the Lamar and Gardner Rivers.  Though he does guide on other waterways when conditions or client wishes dictate.

Paul's Montana guide service (Montana Guide #33555) is most often conducted on the Yellowstone River, local southwestern Montana lakes, or the beautiful Paradise Valley spring creeks (DePuy, Armstrong, Nelson's), through outfitter Matt Swan (Montana Outfitter number #26324).

Weamer Fly Fishing LLC is an authorized permittee of the National Park Service, and Paul's Montana guide license and Yellowstone National Park CUA require him to be certified in CPR and First Aid.  If you'd like to book a Yellowstone trip, have questions, or would just like some more information, email Paul at weamerflyfishing@gmail.com.
